Submissions and Tips Policy

What users may submit

• News tips, public-record links, correction requests, business profile details, apartment/listing information, event details, photos, logos, advertiser materials, and service-provider information.
• Submissions are not guaranteed to be published, promoted, investigated, corrected, or preserved.

Evidence and safety

• Submit factual support when possible: public records, official links, documents, dates, names, and contact paths.
• Do not submit private personal data, confidential business records you are not allowed to share, copyrighted files without rights, unlawful recordings, threats, harassment, spam, malware, or unsupported accusations.
• Sensitive tips should not be submitted through ordinary forms if anonymity or source protection is essential; CREN needs a separate secure-tip process before promising confidentiality.

CREN review

CREN may verify, edit, summarize, reject, hold, archive, publish, label, correct, or remove submissions. Business, listing, advertiser, and high-risk factual claims may require proof and manual review before publication.
